NanaWall® WA67: Maximum Frame Size Chart For Different Number of Panels

Any custom size is possible up to the maximum size shown. The Size Wizard may aid in determining if a dimension is within the size limitation.

WA67 Size Chart

Solid dark line line on chart indicates maximum frame height possible for a given maximum frame width with a top hung system (WA67/o).
Broken line on chart dashed line indicates maximum frame height possible for a given maximum frame width with a floor mounted system (WA67/u).

Any custom size is possible up to the maximum size shown.

For heights above 8'6", panels have to be stiffened with a horizontal mullion.
· Recommended maximum width for exterior applications: 36'
· Recommended maximum width for interior applications: 40'
Generally, the minimum width of each panel is 1'11" (600 mm).

The maximum size limits are based on the weight of a panel that has a net glass thickness of 5/16" (8 mm). This glass is insulated, and each pane is 5/32" (4 mm) thick. For other net glass thickness, this maximum size limit chart will not apply.

Relationship of Frame, Panel and Glass Sizes

Dimensions in millimeters unless noted

Glass dimensions of all panels in a unit are equal.
Nominal panel width (PW) is defined as:
Glass Width + 130 = Glass Width + 5 1/8"

Nominal panel height (PH) is defined as:
Glass Height + (148 to 166) = Glass Height + (5 7/8" to 6 1/2").

See Cross-Section Details of both stiles of each panel to determine actual Panel Width. With astragals, overlapping, etc., the actual Panel Width not only varies with position of panel in a configuration, but the inside and outside surface widths of each stile may be different.

For each configuration, the Frame Width (FW) is the sum of the nominal Panel Width (PW) x the number of panels + a number (N) which is the sum of the side jamb dimensions and dimensions of space between panels in excess of the nominal Panel Width as shown in the Cross-Section Details. This number will be useful for computing nominal Panel Widths and Glass Widths for a given Frame Width and vice versa.

Panel thickness of WA67 System = 66 = 2 5/8".

For WA67/o Top Hung
Standard Sill: FH = 82.5 + PH + 37 = PH + 119.5= PH + 4 7/16"
Flush/Low Profile Sill: FH = 82.5 + PH + 47 = PH + 129.5= PH + 5 1/8"
For WA67/u Floor Mounted
Standard Sill: FH = 54 + PH + 50 = PH + 104 = PH + 4 1/8"

Frame Widths for Different Configurations with Majority of Panels Folding to Right (and their Mirror Image Configurations with Majority of Panels Folding to Left). See Maximum Size Charts for size limits.
Please note that widths for units with unhinged panels or angle turns will be different.
